Addy Wiley Champion Women's 1500m - NACAC Under 23 Track and Field Championships 2023

Addy Wiley, a 19-year-old athlete who recently completed her freshman year at NAIA Huntington University in Indiana, set a meet record by running 4:05.84 to capture gold for the United States in the women's 1,500-meter final at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Under-23 Championships at the National Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica. Wiley eclipsed the 2014 mark of 4:15.52 established in 2014 by Canadian athlete Jenna Westaway in British Columbia. Ellie Shea, 17, of Emerging Elites in Massachusetts added a silver medal for the Americans by running 4:14.90. More videos |
